Robbo can't wait till transfer merry-go-round ends so he doesn't need to worry about losing key men

Stephen Robinson admits he can't wait for the winter transfer window to slam shut.

The St Mirren boss doesn't expect to do any more business — and wants to hold on to key men.

Midfielder Allan Campbell and strikers Jake Young and Kion Etete have been added this month.

Oisin Smyth was recalled from a spell at Championship side Partick Thistle but is now back on loan at Firhill and been joined by fellow midfielder Fraser Taylor.

Meanwhile, a potential move for Exeter City midfielder Ed Francis has collapsed, while Robbo insists it would take a mega bid to part company with the likes of Miguel Freckleton and Killian Phillips.
