School is flying the green flag

Goudie Academy tops for environmental teaching

A Paisley school is top of the class for its approach to sustainability and environmental education.

Goudie Academy, run by specialist child and youth care charity Kibble, has successfully retained its Eco-Schools Green Flag Award.

By retaining the award, it recognises the school’s ongoing commitment in the field.

The secondary school is part of the national care charity Kibble who provide support services for young people in care or who have experienced trauma in their lives.

The Eco-Schools Green Flag Award recognises excellence in environmental action in education-and is part of the largest global sustainable school programme.
