Inspirational Jessica wants others to reach their goals

A Renfrew woman has become one of the first studens from a local additional support needs (ASN) school to go to university - and now has her sights set on becoming a lawyer.
Jessica Gunn is now in her third year at the University of West of Scotland (UWS) studying for a BA honours degree in Criminal Justice Criminology (Policing).
With an HNC in Police Studies and an HND in Legal Studies already to her name, Jessica is keen to continue her studies and hopes to read law at a Scottish university with an aim of eventually working in criminal defence or in the prosecution service.
Her impressive academic journey is all the more remarkable given that Jessica, who has a learning disability and autism, is one of the first students from Mary Russell School - for pupils with ASN in Paisley - to attend university.
