Get set for summer of sport at Barshaw gala

Crowds are set to celebrate Scotland's Summer of Sport at Barshaw Gala Day with an afternoon packed full of activities for all the family.
Taking place on Saturday, June 20, from 12noon to 5pm, Barshaw Park will be a hive of activity as the local community comes together for one of the highlights on the calendar.
There will be plenty to keep everyone busy with a number of local clubs providing fun sports activities for free, including football, hockey, basketball, rugby, American football and volleyball.
The funfair is back for thrill seekers young and old, and there will be a selection of inflatables along with free drop-in arts and crafts workshops and face-painting.
