We had interesting news this week that there had been agreements made between Westminster and the European Union that would provide benefits for us all.

On the face of it great, a quick look at the headlines and we may think what's not to like. Closer ties with our nearest neighbours, making trade easier, allowing less paperwork and costs for our goods that we buy.
It is very handy in the situation that we find ourselves with the increased cost of living and war in Ukraine and having to deal with someone who thinks the way to grow an economy is to introduce tariffs which has failed every time they have been introduced in the past.
Wait, take a step back. We had all this before, in fact we had all this and ten times more before Brexit.
Yes, that rings a bell. Nine years ago Scotland was removed from Europe against its democratic will. A decision that cost these islands dear.
