Neilston boss backs squad to make First Division impact after league-winning promotion
Andy Whiteford has backed his Farmer's Boys to make an impact this season after their title triumph.
Neilston are looking forward to West of Scotland League First Division football having secured the Second Division title on the final day of the 2024-25 campaign.
Whiteford knows the hard work which has been put in on and off the park over the summer with the Brig O'Lea outfit in the midst of their preseason preparations.
Speaking after Saturday's 3-3 draw with Hurlford United, the gaffer (inset) said: "It's been a good preseason so far and we didn't feel like we needed to change too much although we looked to add a few players.
