Johnstone come back from goal down for convincing win against Bo'ness in cup clash

Murdo MacKinnon was delighted to see a "dominant" display from Johnstone Burgh after they progressed in the South Challenge Cup.

The West of Scotland League Premier Division side secured their spot in the second round of competition by getting the better of Lowland League opponents Bo'ness on Saturday.

A Blair Rossiter double and goals from Aiden Gilmartin and Max Kerr sealed a first-round victory at Newtown Park in West Lothian.

And Burgh boss MacKinnon was pleased with how his side performed - despite going a goal down in the first half.

He said: "I thought it was a really good performance from us. We were dominant in the game.

"Bo'ness are a really good side; they are well organised and are a threat as they go ahead in the game.
