Double award nod joy for nursery team

A nursery backed by Paisley-based charity Kibble has been nationally recognised after being shortlisted in two major categories.

Puddle Lane Nursery, in Hillington, will be competing for the prize in the parent engagement and individual nursery of the year categories at the Scottish Nursery Awards.

The nominations, judges say, reflect the nursery’s commitment to providing exceptional early years education through a nurturing, community-focused approach that places families at the heart of every child’s learning journey.

They pointed to Puddle Lane’s modern environment, experienced staff team and play-based curriculum which create a thriving space where children build confidence, creativity and curiosity each day.

And secondly, to be the winning nominee for the Parent Engagement Award, nurseries are expected to actively involve families in children’s learning and development.
