|December 05, 2025
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal Thursday accused the several senior officers of the Patiala Police of preventing Opposition candidates from filing nomination papers for the upcoming zila parishad and panchayat samiti polls at the behest of the ruling AAP.
-
Badal shared an audio clip on his social media handle X, which purported to carry a conversation between Senior Superintendent of Police Varun Sharma and other officers for blocking opposition nominees from reaching nomination centres.
Meanwhile, the Patiala Police junked the allegations.
