Free sand for PMAY houses

In a major step to support affordable housing, the state government has decided to provide sand free of cost to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and other government housing schemes for constructing pucca houses.
Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced Sunday that the state government will bear the cost of sand, ensuring smooth construction for beneficiaries under these schemes.
