Ensure govt schemes reach grassroots: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Thursday called upon development officers to ensure that developmental schemes effectively reach the grassroots.
He said this while addressing the State-level Conference of Chief Development Officers (CDOs) and Block Development Officers (BDOs) at Lok Seva Bhawan.
The CM urged the officers to work with dedication and spirit of public service, stressing that officers must act as a strong bridge between the government and the people. “Our blocks are the mirror of our administrative success. If they function efficiently and people receive the benefits of all schemes, it will reflect the competence of our government,” the Chief Minister said.
Majhi highlighted the crucial role played by district and block-level officials in ensuring that developmental schemes effectively reach the grassroots.
