Dog census after rain: BMC Mayor

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das Friday announced that a dog census will be conducted in the City after the rainy season.

Das welcomed the Supreme Court’s revised directive on stray dogs, emphasising the importance of sterilisation and medical treatment over relocation. She said that the preliminary estimation suggests over 80,000 dogs
