The top eight teams from junior and senior categories will advance to the grand finale August 10 after clearing the prelim hurdles August 9. As the excitement builds, defending champions and runners-up from the leading institutions share their mantra of success
-
Sharing his experience, Arush Das of DAV Public School, Unit-8 - the champion in the sixth edition’s junior category - said, “Last year’s win has boosted our confidence, but this time, we're focusing more on lateral thinking and rapid recall.
Hoping to make it two in a row, he added, “Our strategy is to emphasise trivia and current affairs. We're also working on carefully listening to the questions — often, the clues lie within them.”
Praising Mettle Meet, Das called it ‘one of the top quizzing competitions in the country’.
Adarsh Kumar Mohapatra of AIMS, Bhubaneswar ~ the winner of last year’s senior category ~ said, “We're sharpening our focus on trivia and current affairs while also fine-tuning our teamwork and communication skills to improve our speed and accuracy under pressure.”
