City AIIMS rolls out women’s health drive

AIIMS-Bhubaneswar Wednesday launched the “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan,” a 16-day nationwide campaign to promote women’s health, family well-being, and community empowerment.

Institute director Ashutosh Biswas inaugurated the drive and also opened the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Kutir at the OPD foyer, which will serve as a help desk and registration point for women patients, attendants, and staff.

On the opening day, many beneficiaries availed free health checkups and cancer screenings. Running till October 2, the campaign will reach women patients, attendants, children, faculty, students, healthcare workers, and communities in both rural and urban areas.
