Apple 'no' to Sanchar Saathi

Amid growing uproar over the Centre's directive requiring mobile manufacturers to pre-install cybersecurity app Sanchar Saathi on handsets, iPhone maker Apple has clarified that it has no plans to comply with the order. The app directive comes at a time when Apple is entangled in a legal battle with Competition Commission of India over an antitrust penalty. Other smartphone brands, including Samsung, are still reviewing the order.
