Animesh Kujur excels in 100m, 200m sprints

Odisha's star sprinter Animesh Kujur stamped his authority in the men's 100m and 200m sprint events with dominant wins in the Indian Grand Prix 2 here Saturday.
The 21-year-old 200m national record holder emerged the fastest runner by winning the short dash in 10.31 seconds before clinching the 200m title in 20.55 seconds.
His personal best in 100m dash is 10.27 seconds, while he holds the national record in 200m -- 20.40 seconds -- set in April in Kochi.
RESULTS
Men 100m (Race A): Animesh Kujur (Odisha) 10.31 seconds, Lalu Prasad Bhoi (Odisha) 10.57 seconds, Dondapati M (Odisha) 10.57 seconds.
