'To hear Champions League anthem at City Ground would be incredible'

NOTTINGHAM Forest players have already dreamt about what it would be like to hear the Champions League anthem ring out at the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are keen not to get ahead of themselves as the business end of the season approaches. But for Morgan Gibbs-White, the prospect of securing European football for Reds fans is an extra source of motivation in the final weeks of the campaign.

Forest are well placed to do just that. They are third in the Premier League table with nine games remaining, six points clear of fifth-placed Manchester City.

“It would be incredible,” Gibbs-White told talkSPORT when asked about the possibility of competing among Europe's elite.

“We've spoken about it in the changing room, imagine hearing the Champions League anthem at the City Ground and how loud it’s going to be.
