Textor’s common ground with Reds owner

JOHN Textor has opened up on his relationship with Evangelos Marinakis following a flurry of transfer business between Nottingham Forest and Botafogo.

Four players signed for the Reds from the Brazilian outfit this summer.
Igor Jesus, Jair Cunha, John Victor and Cuiabano all made the switch, although the latter has since returned to his former club on loan for the remainder of 2025.
Meanwhile, midfielder Danilo headed in the opposite direction as he left the City Ground after a two-and-a-half-year stay.
Forest owner Marinakis and Botafogo shareholder Textor have a good relationship.
