Snake on a tram!

A MAN was asked to leave a Nottingham tram after he was spotted with a snake around his neck.

The passenger got on the tram at the Moor Bridge stop in Bulwell and remained on board until he was removed six stops later at Wilkinson Street.

Carole Bradshaw, from Bulwell, spotted the man and his snake when she was boarding the tram at Moor Bridge on Wednesday, June 10.

The 71-year-old turned around and waited for the next tram, terrified it might get loose.

She said: “I'm absolutely petrified of snakes, I saw a man with a huge snake, and I told my friends I wasn’t getting on that.

“I knocked on the window of the tram driver, and I said that there was a man with a snake. I know we don’t let dogs on the tram, but I don't know about snakes.
