Sherwood says Dyche would be 'safe hands'

He added: “Ange Postecoglou has gone in there on a hiding to nothing because the fans didn’t want anyone other than Nuno. Now they've got someone and it hasn’t started so well, but he hasn’t had the time. I think it’s ridiculous to suggest to get a new man.

“Mr Marinakis knows what he wants and what he wanted was Ange Postecoglou. He didn’t want Nuno anymore.

“Is he going to stick to his guns? Does he think that is a reasonable amount of time between the beginning of his (Postecoglou’s) contract to where we are now?

“I don't, I think it’s ludicrous. But if he does, I’m sure he will pull the trigger and bring in Sean Dyche, if it is to be Sean Dyche.”
