Return of the riff in spellbinding and spine-tingling night of rock
Nottingham Post
|March 07, 2026
AFTER a two-year break which saw Myles Kennedy tour with Guns 'n' Roses legend, Slash, Mark Tremonti tour with his heavy metal side project, Tremonti and joined Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips on a Creed reunion tour, Alter Bridge were back together at the Motorpoint Arena on Thursday night to deliver a show that was well worth the wait.
Before a packed and enthusiastic crowd, the Arena lights dimmed, raising the atmosphere to another level as the band stepped out into the spotlight and opened with Silent Divide, the opening track of the new eponymous album as it opened with a powerful guitar riff before the bass and drums kicked in, setting the bar high for the rest of the set.
