A JANUARY swoop for Hibernian midfielder Josh Mulligan could be on the cards for Nottingham Forest.

Head coach Sean Dyche will soon get the opportunity to make changes to his Reds squad for the first time. A big overhaul of the dressing room is unlikely, but a few tweaks are certainly possible.

Dyche has already said Forest are "open-minded" about what business they do in an "awkward" winter window.

A number of players have been linked with moves to the City Ground, and now Mulligan has emerged as a potential target.

According to the Daily Mail, the Reds are among the clubs with a "serious interest" in the 23-year-old. They are said to have made "initial enquiries" as they consider whether to make a bid for him next month.
