CALLUM Hudson-Odoi salvaged a point for Nottingham Forest as they came from behind to draw 1-1 away against Crystal Palace yesterday and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

The buildup to the Premier League clash in the capital had been dominated by talk about Nuno Espirito Santo's future as the Reds head coach following an extraordinary press conference on Friday.

A game already in the spotlight courtesy of this summer's Europa League saga concerning the two teams suddenly took on even greater importance.

Forest are set to be the direct beneficiaries of Palace's demotion by UEFA to the Conference League, subsequently upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), as the club expected to take the Europa League place.
