Prolific criminal jailed after he groomed ‘14-year-old girl’ online

A PROLIFIC burglar groomed what he thought was a 14-year-old girl online and sent her disgusting sexual videos.
Nottingham Crown Court heard how alcoholic Jo McCauley asked the teenage victim to “keep it secret” before asking her for similar pictures in return.
But unbeknown to the heavily-convicted 53-year-old, the girl was, in fact, self-styled paedophile hunters who let the police know what had been happening and the defendant was arrested.
And a combination of the seriousness of his fresh crimes together with his awful criminal record has seen him put behind bars.
