Pearce's praise for flight staff during his health scare

NOTTINGHAM Forest legend Stuart Pearce has had an emotional reunion with the cabin crew member who played a crucial role in saving his life after he became unwell on a flight returning from Las Vegas.

Pearce, a fan of Warrington Wolves, was in Vegas to witness the Super League match against Wigan Warriors when he suffered a medical emergency mid-flight, leading to an urgent diversion to Canada for hospital treatment.

It was later disclosed by doctors that they had to 'reboot' his heart to reduce his elevated heart rate.

Discussing the frightening experience on This Morning with his wife Carol, Pearce recounted: "At the airport my chest felt tight, a little bit heavy. I thought it might be indigestion or something of that nature, I got on the plane and it felt as though someone was sort of sat on my chest.
