NEWLY planted trees were broken and damaged in a “terrible act of vandalism” at a park in Nottinghamshire.
-
Dozens of saplings in Digby Park, Mapperley were found snapped, bent or without guards on the weekend of March 29/30.
They were some of the 1,200 trees planted at the site in February as part of a project aiming to improve green spaces and tackle climate change.
