Man jailed after girl told her mum about sexual assault

A YOUNG girl has been praised for her courage to come forward after she was sexually assaulted.
-
The crime, in April was, uncovered when the victim, whose identity is protected, told her mother about what Mark Finney had done to her.
The 42-year-old initially pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching but later switched to a guilty plea after DNA evidence was gathered against him.
