Leafy town again named top place to live in Notts
Nottingham Post
|September 24, 2025
A TOWN known for its Edwardian homes, great restaurants and idyllic parks has again been named as the best place to live in Nottinghamshire.
-
West Bridgford regularly features in 'best places' to live lists, both locally and nationally. In 2024, it was even named by The Telegraph as one of Britain's top 50 most affluent towns.
But what it is that makes the town so attractive? Travel site Muddy Stilettos, which has compiled the list of best places to live, asked voters to consider several factors when making the decision. This included each town or village's sense of community, access to schools, restaurants, shops and culture, and proximity to other areas - all important factors when deciding where to live.
