CYCLING Biking legend Sir Chris Hoy has offered a health update as he gears up to participate in his charitable cycling venture, the ‘Tour de Four’.

Hoy in update over his health

The six-time Olympic gold medallist featured on BBC Breakfast to discuss his wellbeing ahead of the ride.

Hoy, who stands as Britain's second-most decorated Olympian, received a prostate cancer diagnosis two years ago after suffering shoulder discomfort.

Devastatingly, Hoy has been informed that his cancer is terminal, having metastasised to his bones and progressed to stage four.
