How we cope with lows in life shapes our future

Nottingham Post

If asked for one indispensable characteristic needed to lead a business, I normally say resilience: the ability to bounce back from tough experiences, learn and evolve.

- Faith Ian Baxter

I know this because in my 37-year career, as well as many highs, I've encountered quite a few lows. Somehow managing to lever myself out of bed the next day and have another go has been key.Resilience matters in general life as well. Even though I don't know you, I can pretty much guarantee you already have, or at some point will, face deep challenges in your life. It's not just my opinion, Jesus himself said "in this world you will have trouble". While I would never want to minimise the difficulty of anyone's experience, it remains true that your response will shape your future life.
