Heron Foods announces opening date for new city store

FROZEN food chain Heron Foods has revealed the date its new city store will open - and there's something special planned for the first 100 customers.

The company is opening at the former Coop at the Bridgeway Centre in The Meadows, which has sat empty since the store closed in October.
In early August, Heron Foods began advertising jobs for its new store in the unit. And yesterday a spokesperson for the chain confirmed the store will be opening at 8am on Thursday, September 18.
