NOTTINGHAM
Forest are hoping a final decision on their latest plans to expand the City Ground will be made in May, ahead of work potentially starting within months. The club has previously said it hoped approval for the project would come in the spring, but new documents have now confirmed it is aiming for Rushcliffe Borough Council to give the green light in May.
The aim is for the Reds to then start development work this summer, with the whole project set to be completed by 2033 in a bid to increase capacity to more than 50,000.
