Firefighter has 'no regrets' after £2,000 dip in a pool and £400 pint of Guinness

TOMASZ HAS SUCCUMBED TO TEMPTATIONS ON TV SHOW BUT SAYS IT’S ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
NOTTINGHAM firefighter Tomasz Wisniewski says he has no regrets after succumbing to temptations on a TV reality show where contestants compete for a share of a £300,000 prize pot.
The 40-year-old says he wasn't motivated by the money and wanted to enjoy his experience in the Channel 4 show Tempting Fortune.
Twelve contestants spend 18 days on an arduous trek through the Malaysian jungle, where they are confronted by treats along the way, such as comfy beds, a swimming pool, cold drinks and pub grub. But each comes with hefty price tag, causing the shared money to dwindle.
So far, viewers have seen Tomasz branded selfish for taking a dip in the refreshing water of the pool for £2,000 and sipping a £400 pint of Guinness - the latter he said was a protest against other competitors "bullying" contender Vicki for tucking into chips after being unable to stomach the meagre diet of rice and beans.
He said: "I don't regret anything I have done. Everyone was there for different reasons. Some for pushing themselves, some for the money, I was there for the experience and the memories. Never have any regrets in your life.
