LOCATION-TRACKING TECHNOLOGY WILL AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE TRAIN USERS
NOTTINGHAMSHIRE rail passengers are to take part in a new pay-as-you-go ticketing system trial which tracks passengers' locations as they travel.
The location-tracking digital ticketing trial - the first of its kind in England - starts on East Midlands Railway between Derby, Leicester and Nottingham today. Further tests will take place in Yorkshire from the end of September.
