A WOMAN has admitted causing the death of an elderly mobility scooter rider in a city-centre crash.
Doreen Raynor, commonly known as “Ma Raynor”, died after being taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Huntingdon Street on March 4, 2023.
On Monday at Nottingham Crown Court, Rayner Middleton pleaded guilty to causing the death of the 89-year-old by careless driving while under the influence of drugs.
