Drug farming pair likely to be deported after jail spell
Nottingham Post
|April 17, 2025
A PAIR of illegal immigrants were caught looking after a large-scale cannabis grow in Nottingham worth up to £1 million.
Nottingham Crown Court heard how almost 1,250 plants were found when officers raided the commercial premises in Basford.
Four large areas of the property had been set aside for growing drugs, the electricity had been bypassed and sophisticated fans and lighting rigs had been installed to help the plants grow.
Inside were Albanian nationals Klevis Bicaku and Sadri Seeaj, both of whom had come to the UK looking for a better life and to make money to send home to their families.
