Driver arrested after van crashes into pub's sign

ONE person was arrested and another reported injured after a van crash outside a pub.

The van was reportedly being driven in a dangerous manner seconds before colliding with a vehicle it had been trying to overtake, eventually hitting the nearby pub sign.
The incident happened at 1.20pm on Monday at the Radcliffe Pub on Shelford Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent.
The van was reportedly seen speeding and trying to overtake other motorists on bends seconds before the crash.
After unsuccessfully trying to overtake the car, the van lost control and went into the sign, while the car it collided with crashed into nearby bushes, police said.
