COUNCIL HOPING TO SEE MORE VISITORS ENJOYING SITE

A NEW cafe has opened at a popular country park.
Shipley Country Park's new Bluebell Cafe opened on Tuesday.
Derbyshire County Council says this marks the first of a "series of steps" to improve facilities around the park's visitor centre.
The site off Slack Lane, Heanor, has been modernised by Derbyshire-based catering business Blueberry and is open on weekdays from 9.30am to 4pm, and from 8.30am to 5pm on weekends.
