Care home rated 'good' after changes are made

A NOTTINGHAM care home has turned itself around after a previous Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection deemed the facility unsafe.

Since their last inspection in October 2024, Mount Vernon Terrace Care Home, in Waverley Street, has implemented a series of improvements.

Previously, inspectors said the care home had been in breach of several regulations, including the building being kept safe through effective maintenance, which was “unclean and unhygienic”, which ultimately left the CQC concerned people were “at risk of harm”.
