KEEPER IS AIMING HIGH

- By SAM ALLEN

IT is tough for James Belshaw to stay grounded as he chases promotion with Notts County, his boyhood club.

The 35-year-old has been a great addition in goal for the Magpies, replacing the error-prone Kelle Roos in January and completing a lifelong dream of representing the club he grew up supporting.

However, since joining Belshaw has said that just being a part of it all is not enough; he wants to be remembered for his days playing for the club, which will come by helping the team clinch promotion.

Staying focused on the task at hand is key, with plenty still to play for as the Magpies chase down a place inside League Two's top three, which they have been in and out of at different points this season.
