Bins were not emptied for ten weeks

NEIGHBOURS living on a country lane say they are becoming "annoyed" after having their bins missed for 10 weeks.

The residents, who live off Nottingham Road in Woodborough, have resorted to going to the tip or burning rubbish.
Amanda Turnbull, who lives with her husband at Barn Farm Cottages, said 10 collections - five black bin and five recycling - had been missed by binmen despite being left at the side of the main road.
Gedling Borough Council apologised for the missed collections, which it blamed on a miscommunication between crews.
