A LOOK AT DYCHE'S TO-DO LIST NOW HE’S IN FOREST HOT SEAT

AT least Sean Dyche will not have to worry about moving house as he takes up the reins at Nottingham Forest.

- By SARAH’ CEAFSON

It will be one less thing for the 54-year-old to deal with as he gets to grips with a quite considerable in-tray at the City Ground. Dyche has plenty of work to do after being appointed the Reds’ third head coach of the season.

Predecessor Ange Postecoglou had only just moved into an apartment before he was given the boot on Saturday after 39 days in charge. The Greek-born Australian had joked prior to Forest's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea that perhaps he should have stayed in temporary digs.

Postecoglou wasn’t wrong. Dyche will not have that problem as he already lives in the area but he does inherit a team desperately in need of kickstarting their campaign.

Dyche’s first match in charge will be tomorrow night’s Europa League clash at home against Porto.

Below is a look at what is on the former Burnley and Everton boss’ to-do list as he gets to grips with his new job.

Tighten up the defence

Integral to Forest’s success last term was their rock-solid back line. Matz Sels lifted the Golden Glove award after keeping 13 clean sheets while Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo proved a formidable centre-back pairing.

Added to that, Ola Aina and Neco Williams were consistently good at fullback.

This time around, regular shutouts are little but a distant memory. The Reds haven't had one since April 1 - highlighting how some of their current struggles predate Postecoglou.
