JKC invests ₹100 cr more in Jet Airways, plans to fly in 2024

The Jalan Kalrock Consortium (JKC) on Friday said it has invested ₹100 crore more in Jet Airways (India) Ltd, completing its financial commitments to take charge of the airline it won in a bankruptcy auction over two years ago
Lenders, which selected JKC to take over Jet Airways, have not transferred ownership to the consortium, accusing it of not investing the agreed amount in the airline; meanwhile, the consortium has accused lenders of obstructing ownership transfer and thwarting its attempt to resume flights.
Last month, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) asked JKC to complete the investment by 30 September.
