By 2032, India to have 123 mn EVs

India will have 123 million electric vehicles (EVs) on road by 2032 under the best case scenario, said a report by India Energy Storage Alliance and Customised Energy Solutions released on Tuesday.

To achieve sustainable development and net zero emissions by 2070, there is a need to adopt EVs and this can also bolster India's economy while supporting the 30% EV penetration target for 2030, the report said.
