Won't be intimidated by terror, says J&K CM after special Cabinet meeting in Pahalgam

"This is not just a routine Cabinet meeting," Abdullah told reporters during his first press conference since the attack that killed 26 people, mostly tourists. "We want to show that we are not cowed down by these cowardly acts of terror." Photographs of the Cabinet session, held at the Pahalgam Club, were shared by the Chief Minister's Office on social media, captioned with the assertion that Jammu and Kashmir remains "firm, strong, and unafraid".

The chief minister opened his remarks by acknowledging the public's response to the tragedy. "I want to thank the people of Kashmir, especially those from Pahalgam, who condemned the violence with one voice. I salute their courage and unity," he said.
