A 13-year-old boy died while his grandmother suffered burn injuries after a fire, suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, broke out in a house in west Delhi's Vishnu Garden area early Wednesday morning, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Jaspreet, while his grandmother, Swamjeet Kaur, 65, sustained burn injuries and is undergoing treatment, they said. Jaspreet enjoyed sleeping, Swamjeet Kaur said, adding that his uncle tried to wake him, but he kept sleeping.
