Manila Bulletin
|August 09 2025
Vice President Sara Duterte on Thursday, Aug. 7, urged respect and adherence to the Senate's decision to archive the impeachment complaint filed against her and emphasized the importance of recognizing the constitutional role of the legislative body.
"We must respect the role of the Senate of the Philippines. Suppose that's the decision of the majority of the Senate members, in that case, everyone must follow and respect that decision," Duterte said after attending the Misa Pasasalamat for this year's Kadayawan Festival on Thursday afternoon.
