Rep Duterte dismisses charges filed by Davao businessman as 'fabricated'

Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte branded as fabricated a case filed against him by a businessman, who levelled charges of physical injuries and grave threats against him in connection with an incident that occurred at a bar in Davao City last February 23.
In a statement sent from The Hague, Netherlands where he is visiting his father former president Rodrigo Duterte, the Davao solon dismissed the charges as “planted”, and emphasized that such tactics were nothing new to him.
