Potato Corner opens first Taiwan store

Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) subsidiary Potato Corner, a global leader in flavored fries from the Philippines, marked its expansion to Taiwan with the opening of its first Taipei store last month.

Since its acquisition by SPAVI in 2022, Potato Corner has scaled its presence in key international markets and now operates 2,345 global stores. Taiwan marks the 16th overseas market for the global flavored fries brand.

Located in Xinyi District’s Uni-President Department Store Taipei, the inaugural Potato Corner Taiwan store places the brand at the center of Taipei’s retail and dining scene, positioned near major transit hubs, including the MRT and bus terminals.

Potato Corner’s entry also signals the beginning of its partnership with Taiwan’s Fujin Tree Group, a respected lifestyle and food and beverage (F&B) operator with over a decade of international experience.
