Over 600 families to secure land rights in Pasig

After decades of waiting, Mayor Vico Sotto announced that more than 600 families in Ismar, Kalawaan in Pasig City, are set to secure land rights through a lease-purchase agreement.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Sotto said, "Sa mga taga-Ismar, pagkatapos ng ilang dekada, sa inyo na po ang lupa (For the residents of Ismar, after several decades, the land is finally yours)."
The mayor reminded them of their agreement and their responsibilities to take care of their land, including paying the affordable installments as stated in the contract.
